Among the cases to hit the headlines in 2018 were Cambridge Analytica and Facebook which involved corporates profiting from personal data without the consent of the individual. If you look at the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) website you will see that many companies have been fined for selling personal data to third parties (for profit) again without the individuals knowledge and most importantly their consent

Your Data Safe have been working hard behind the scenes developing the YDS Academy. This will be our first release. That being said we want to show a small preview of our progress to date.
What is it?
The YDS Academy is our cloud based education & training platform. Our academy will allow companies to ensure that staff are trained in line with current regulations. Using our insurance approved training courses, companies will be able to train and manage their staff competence in areas such as GDPR and Cyber Security.
What does it look like?
As you can see via the images below. It will be a simple module content management system linking you to set courses that you are required to do.
How will the training be done?
The training will be done via a online modules, with a series of videos and questions, having user participation key to learning.
Additional Features
The user has full control of the learning experience. You can come back to any point of the module and, at any point go away from the computer and come back to resume from the same point.
Another aid, if you like to read instead of listen, have the content in text form via a transcript.
